Float switch for automatic water pump control based on tank or sump water level.
Description
The Float Switch is an automatic level-sensing device that turns a water pump on or off based on the water level in a tank, well, or sump pit. As the water rises, the buoyant float tilts upward and either makes or breaks an electrical circuit, triggering the pump to start or stop. This eliminates the need for manual pump control and prevents both tank overflow and dry-running pump damage. Easy to install by suspending it in the tank at the desired trigger level, it works with single-phase submersible and surface water pumps. A simple, reliable, and affordable automation solution for domestic water supply, irrigation, and borehole pump systems.
